WSOPE 2017 Grants 11 Poker Players with Coveted Bracelets

The World Series of Poker Europe has its last day on 10th November and it brought a lot of memorable moments for many poker players. It featured many events and eleven of them granted their big winners with bracelets for their excellent performance. Among them were the culminating €10,350 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event as well as the premium €111,111 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller for One Drop which gave out an impressive amount of money to the top positions on the leader boards.

Starting with the first bracelet event in the schedule of WSOPE 2017, 19th October saw the beginning of €1,100 No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack which lasted a total of four days of the game and the 561 entries amassed a prize pool amounting to €538,280. The big winner in the tournament was Ukraine poker player Oleksandr Shcherbak who laid his hands on €117,708 and this was the first WSOP bracelet in his career. The second bracelet tournament was the €550 Pot-Limit Omaha which provided a more affordable buy-in and the 523 entries helped to swell the prize pool to €250,909. The big winner was Andreas Klatt from Germany who also won his first bracelet as well as €56,400.

The third bracelet winner in this year’s WSOPE was Martin Kabrhel from the Czech Republic who took part in the €1,100 No-Limit Hold’em Super Turbo Bounty. There were 325 entries in the poker tournament and this resulted in a prize pool amounting to €214,337. The big winner defeated all of them and bagged €53,557 at the end of the final day. Bracelet event #4 was the €1,650 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed and it attracted 240 entries which gathered a prize pool of €345,420. The throne was claimed by Theodore Mc Quilkin from France, who pocketed €88,043 for his great performance.

During that time another bracelet event was in progress and that was €550 No-Limit Hold’em The Colossus. A total of 4,115 entries were registered and this swelled the prize pool to the spectacular €2,078,075. This, in turn, guaranteed the sweet payday for Czech poker player Matous Skorepa who won €270,015 as well as a coveted by many bracelets. The sixth WSOPE bracelet was given at the €2,200 Pot-Limit Omaha event, which drew 191 entries and featured a €366,529 prize pool. Lukas Zaskodny was the lucky layer who won €93,677 for his deep run.

The seventh poker pro who received a golden bracelet came from the US and his name was Chris Ferguson. He participated in the €1,650 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better which featured prize pool amounting to €132,411 and attracted some 92 players. As for the eighth bracelet, it was granted at the €1,100 No-Limit Hold’em Little One for One Drop where 868 entries were present and the prize pool reached €866,654. This ensured that the winner Albert Hoekendjik from the Netherlands received €170,764 as well as a bracelet for his good performance.

Impressive High Roller Events

The anticipated by many €25,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller was the ninth bracelet tournament and there were 113 entries going for the big money which resulted in a prize pool estimated to €2,651,545. Spanish poker player Marti de Torres bagged a total of €1,115,207 as well as the last WSOPE bracelet for this poker festival.
