King’s Casino in Rozvadov just welcomed its most recent champion who managed to climb all the way to the throne at WSOP Europe Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Max Event this Wednesday. The skillful winner who made it further than anyone else in the structure of this tournament was Yan Shing Tsang who claimed the first-place prize of €91,730 coming with the seventh Bracelet for this poker festival.
Over the span of the past several days, the picturesque town of Rozvadov has been the arena of heated poker battle thanks to one of the intriguing poker tournaments provided by WSOPE. The festival features a total of 10 WSOPE Bracelets seeking their new owners and as of this Wednesday, seven of them have been claimed. The Final Table of this event was able to provide the last portion of poker action which determined the next winner.
Final Table Features Strong Chinese Influence
It had its first day of poker action on Monday coming with a guaranteed prize pool of €200,000. This amount was bound to be further boosted by the generous €2,200 buy-in leading to its eventual exceeding. Once the registration period came to its end, the overall prize pool was estimated. Thanks to the 187 entries making their way into the tournament, it reached €358,853. The Final Table saw only 8 players taking their seats according to the rules set.
The one with the largest chip stack among at the very beginning was Ilya Bulychev entering with 1,513,000 in chips and bringing Russian poker skills to the felt. At that point of the event, Tsang was occupying the runner-up position chip-wise and commenced the run with 1,139,000 to his name. Later on, they switched places and Bulychev had to settle for the consolation prize of €56,684. Alexander Holmberg was the first eliminated as he could not outplay his rivals and had to settle for the 8th position and €8,886.
The next player to leave the televised Final Table was Gisle Olsen claiming a sweet payday of €11,469. China appeared to have quite the presence at this Final Table as there were three Chinese players featured among the top positions, one of them the champion himself.

Hok Lee from Macau claimed the sixth position on the official rank list and this brought him a sweet payday of €15,134. Another Chinese player hailing from Harbin, Quan Zhou made it to the fourth position and bagged some €28,100 for his excellent performance in this event.
High Roller Event Comes with $1,000,000 GTD
Another event worth mentioning is the WSOPE High Roller one coming with a buy-in of €25,500 as well as the spectacular guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. It commenced this Wednesday with as many as 80 players sliding in. Such premium events are among the preferred ones at every poker festival, but especially at WSOP Europe, as this event comes with the eighth sparkling Bracelet for its first place.

Thursday is appointed as the day which would see the Final Table welcoming as many as 49 survivors. The leading position at the moment belongs to Michael Addamo from Italy nursing a chip stack of 8,120,000. A significant gap stands between him and the runner-up player on the unofficial rank list Jean Thorel. The French player currently has some 5,910,000 listed next to his name. Remaining participants will fight for the top positions until the very end of Thursday and until the winner is determined.
