This Wednesday brought not one, but two starting flights of the premium Oktoberfest event which has the potential to grant its champion the fifth precious WSOPC Ring out of 14.

One of the recent events which launched and are still in progress might be still in its registration period but it already has the potential to attract thousands of players. Day 1d and Day 1e took place on Wednesday, bringing almost 1000 new participants to the poker room at King’s Casino.
More and More Players Make Their Way in
For everyone interested in entering the race towards the large cashes, the fourth starting flight had a buy-in of €250 mandatory for every registrant. A total of 373 players made their way and among them, there were players familiar from previous poker events. Sebastian Kos, a local player who claimed the chip lead in the first flight of the Monster Stack event, was among those making it to the other side. Bagging some 102,000 in chips, he reserved a spot on Day 2 of the event.

David Taborsky was another pro claiming a seat on the next phase of the poker tournament with as many as 98,000 in chips to his name. The chip leader at the end of this day was Israeli player Idan Mole with his chip stack of 651,000. Out of all individuals competing for the premium payouts of this event, only 263 managed to survive until the last level for the day. Some 116 opted for the re-entry option they are eligible to, giving them a second chance at reaching far.
Oktoberfest Event Entries Reach 1,883 People
Shortly after the end of this flight, there was a second one for the day, this time drawing an even larger crowd to the poker room at King’s. The venue itself is used to accommodating a significant number of people at once and this has never been an issue. Day 1e appeared tempting to 454 people elevating the overall entries pool to 1,883. This impressive number is set to also boost the overall prize pool, exceeding the originally announced €400,000.

Piotr Sadowski from Poland managed to reach the top position at the end of this flight with his chip count of 555,000. He would be among the players to have a certain advantage on the next phase of the poker tournament. When it comes to the redraw, it is clear that 1432 individual players have managed to register for participation in this event Mathijs Jacobus Janssen from Belgium remains the overall chip leader preparing to welcome all survivors with his chip stack of 705,000.
Nothing seems to be able to stop surviving players on their way to the top positions on the official rank list. Among them are some of the most promising poker pros both on the Czech scene and across Europe, guaranteeing riveting upcoming days of action.
