Day 1E saw some 848 players making their way into the event and the chip leader among them was player registered under the nickname Koekiej Monster from the Netherlands who had a chip stack amounting to some 2,095,000.
Friday brought the last batch of 728 players, the survivors among which were led by players with the nickname EasyGo. He also became the overall chip leader among all six starting flights. Those who made it to the other side were set to meet once again on Day 2. From the overall number of participants only 2,899 reunited on the official second day of poker action.
Only the top 431 players were in for the cash prizes, as the minimum payout amounted to some €500. The first player to leave with cash was Tobias Walter from Germany. The big winner entered the tournament during the fourth online starting flight where he made it to the 15th position on the rank list. Lon’s chip stack of 915,000 ranked him 99th on the Redraw Day 2.
Slowly but surely the Final Day was reached when a total of three hours and a half were necessary for players to reach the final stages of action. The top four positions on the official leader board arranged a deal making the Final Table go much smoother. Runner-up for this event was German player Nino Wagner claiming some €76,158, whereas the third position on the rank list as claimed by Samuel Merawi Tebege from Germany.
He bagged some €73,683 for his deep run in the poker tournament. Simon Benjamin was the player climbing all the way to the fourth spot of this Main Event, bringing him a sweet payday of €69,213. Now that the premium Grand Prix Germany has come to an end, King’s Casino is ready for the next poker festival which would be The Indian Poker Series.
