This Sunday brought one skillful player to their first-place prize and the throne at the Opening Big Stack Event and that was Volkan Yertürk from Germany who received a total of €18,363 for his excellent performance at the premium poker tournament.
Over the span of four days, all poker players willing to give their luck a try had the chance to enter the first major event of the poker festival and this gave them the opportunity to meet the rest of the enthusiasts and measure skills on the felt. With the help of the five starting flights, everyone had the chance to register for participation and enter the player field. The guaranteed prize pool was what attracted most of the players as it amounted to €100,000. In reality, after all was said and done, the prize pool which was paid to the top 63 players in the event amounted to some €95,000.
The minimal sum paid reached €404 and the first player to receive a cash prize from this tournament was Akgöl Irfan from Germany who entered the run towards the big cashed on Day 1d where he claimed the 10th spot at the rank list for that starting flight. The big winner claimed the trophy after a deal among the remaining three players on the felt which made it easier for the prize pool to be divided.

Right after the end of this poker tournament, the Poker Fever Cup Day 1a commenced for five days of poker action.
The first starting flight attracted some 53 players to the tournament, but only 7 of them are going to meet again at the next stage of action. The buy-in for this tournament reaches €110 while the guaranteed prize pool boasts some €100,000, giving everyone an incentive to play. Day 1b which took place this Monday added as many as 56 players to the entries in the tournament, whereas only 19 of them progress ahead. This week is set to see the winner of this event.
