Poker festivals never cease to amaze the world with their generous offerings and large prize pools and such is the case with the most recent one which is already in progress at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. This is the PokerFever Festival which is going to transform the well-known and beloved poker room into one of the hottest locations in Europe with its Main Event featuring a €200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Over the span of the following almost two weeks King’s Casino is set to welcome some of the most enthusiastic players since this poker festival seems to have a lot up for grabs. The first day of this month also saw the first event of this poker festival. It was a single-day event which went by the name of Welcome to Rozfever and featured a guaranteed prize pool amounting to some €7,000. Since this was the first event in the rich schedule of the poker festival and players perceived it as a sort of warm-up for the real events, there were only as many as 74 players willing to participate in it.
There were some 34 players who had to re-enter the tournament since they were eliminated sooner than expected, but this also brought more cash to the overall prize pool of the event. Each of the participants in the first poker event had the final objective to reach the throne and the prize coming with it, but only one player had the skills to do so. That was Oleh Haisiuk from Ukraine who managed to reach the first place on the official leader board and this brought him a total of €1,829 for his deep run.
