The last event in the rich schedule of the World Series of Poker Circuit which took place in Kings Casino in Rozvadov was the Main Event and even though the Spring Festival has come to an end, the location continues with the much anticipated Monsterstack Madness series which is scheduled to commence this Thursday and continues well into Sunday. This Tuesday saw the official start of the King’s Mega Stack Turbo which had on offer a prize pool amounting to €3,814.
This tournament is part of the regularly hosted events schedule available at the poker room of Kings Casino where players have the chance to demonstrate their poker skills and win some of the big payouts of the events. King’s Mega Stack Turbo came with a buy-in amounting to €60 and this expectedly drew a total of 50 players willing to participate in the poker tournament. The guaranteed prize pool which was announced prior to the beginning of poker action reached €3,500, but with their joint contribution, this amount rose to a higher figure.
Heated Poker Action on the Felt
During the hours of game, there were also a total of 23 re-entries of players who were eliminated from the event sooner than expected and opted for a second chance to reach the top positions. The entire prize pool had to be rightfully separated among the top eight players and the big winner was Markus Pfannenstein from Germany who claimed the throne and the big prize amounting to €1,144. He managed to outplay the runner-up player in a heads-up duel and this brought him his sweet payday. The participant who had to settle for the consolation prize was his fellow German poker player Bernhard Grässl who received some €828 for his second place.
The third place was reserved for poker player Pavel Fořt from the Czech Republic and this tournament brought him €534. As for the most recent event of the same King’s series, this was the King’s Daily No-Limit Hold’em which came with a buy-in reaching €115. Some 86 players entered the run towards the throne and the top places on the official leader board. With their help, the prize pool which they had to share at the end reached €8,075 and this guaranteed excellent payouts for the top nine players who reached the final table. The big winner became poker player from Germany with the nickname APO, who claimed a total of €2,361 for outplaying the rest of the participants.
Runner-up in this tournament became Oleksandr Nahaiev from Ukraine who could not succeed in outplaying the German player and had to settle for €1,696. The third place in this event was claimed by his fellow Ukrainian player Valerii Lubenets who received some €1,102 at the end of the day. This Wednesday will see the official start of the Monsterstack Madness Main Event Day 1a which comes with a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000.
