At the moment King’s Casino located in Rozvadov, Czech Republic is one of the most discussed gambling venues in Europe, as it hosts the World Series of Poker Circuit and its Spring Festival which has already made hundreds of players happier and richer. This Thursday brought the official final table of the Pot Limit Omaha High Roller 8-Max which commenced on Wednesday and this made Greek poker pro Georgios Koliofotis the new champion.
This two-day event was one of the long-anticipated ones since it is one of the high roller tournaments in the schedule of the Spring Festival and they always bring generous prizes to their participants. The buy-in for participation in this poker tournament amounted to some €2,000, which guaranteed generous payouts at the end of the final table and on the way there. As many as 43 players registered and reserved their spot at one of the poker tables during the first day of action which could guarantee them the big cashes.
High Roller Action on Day 2
Day 1 also resulted in 13 re-entries, but at the end of the day, only 25 of the initial number of players managed to survive the rivalry for the big win. At the end of the first day, the chip leader among the remaining players was Martin Kabrhel, who managed to amass some 127,800 in chips. He welcomed the remaining 25 players on Day 2 but unfortunately had to leave before the final table, which granted the seven top players with cash prizes. The prize pool which was paid reached €112,480 and each of the seven players on the final table received a slice of it.
At the end of the final table, the big winner from Greece claimed the throne which comes with a payout amounting to €35,431 and the eighth WSOPC Ring fro this Spring Festival. As for the runner-up position, it was claimed by Paresh Doshi from London, UK, who could not outplay Koliofotis in the heads-up duel and received a consolation prize of €25,589. This Thursday granted another WSOPC Ring as well, this time at the No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout event, which featured a buy-in of €440.
Some 144 players registered for their spot at one of the poker tables, receiving the chance to showcase their skills among all players. The big winner in this tournament became Stanislav Koleno from Bratislava, Slovakia, bagging as much as €14,094 at the end of the final table and the coveted by many ring. As many as 25 players received a cash payout for their deep run in the tournament.
Koleno’s name was among the top positions on Day 1C of the €550 Monster Stack event. During his performance during that event, he was the chip leader of the day, having amassed some 275,000 in chips. He reached the 48 place on the official leader board and this granted him a payout of €1,220.
