The latest one is partypoker MILLIONS Germany €25,000 High Roller which ranted one big winner with a generous prize and the pride to be called a champion. This was accomplished poker player Patrik Antonius who received a total of €425,000 for his great win.
The Finnish poker pro is well-known in the poker industry with his wide variety of interests and fields he succeeds in. Apart from being a poker professional with as much as $7,146,127 from live tournaments and a model, Antonius has been a tennis player and coach in the past. The poker pro from Vantaa, Finland currently lives in Monte Carlo where he has the chance to participate in some of the leading poker tournaments and bring in more earnings to his total live winnings.
Attentive poker enthusiasts could recall that his poker career commenced back in 2003 when he first played at the St. Maarten Open $220 Pot-Limit Omaha and finished fourth. This brought him a paycheck amounting to $3,480 and a flying start to his poker career. Up to this point, his poker winnings are almost always very generous, but the largest amount of money he has bagged from a live poker event so far came back in 2012. This was the moment when the rest of the players decided they would speed up the game pace and turn the two-day event into a single-day one. Renato Novak from Germany also proved he is active in the elimination game and he made it to the third position which granted him €175,000.
